Gurgaon: C C A school is committed to provide educational experience of quality that enable students to learn, share and succeed. The school organizes many workshops and seminars for students and their parents every year at different levels of a child’s school joining. It helps in widening the horizons; stimulate self learning, democratic outlook, moral and ethical behaviour, discipline and positive approach to life.
The changes in the education system, cut throat competition, peer influence and the pressure of parents has made the young minds stand at the cross roads to find a right choice of stream to reach their destination and fulfill their dreams. To remove this confusion from the young minds, the school had organized Chairman’s address to class IX parents’ on 21st April, 2018 in the school premises. The aim was to familiarize the parents, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co- scholastic activities.
The Chairman Col. Kr. Pratap Singh emphasized on leadership traits, academic competence, managing stress, clean environment, flip learning etc. which would help their ward to face the world with confidence and self belief. He also spoke on the significance of securing good marks in Class X and also apprised parents about scholarships, sports coaching, tours and travels and importance of reading newspaper. He also told the parents to inculcate self motivation, discipline and a positive attitude towards studies in them.
He laid stress on effective communication between the teachers and the parents. He gave guidelines about effective parenting. He also suggested different measures to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. Sir also mentioned the importance of reading books and participation in the multifarious activities that the school offers. He asked parents to ensure that their wards are regular to school and in work. He advised the parents to keep a close watch on their wards behavior, performance, language used and company they keep. He also laid emphasis on maintaining conducive home environment, time management, hobbies and interests. Sir, also urged the parents to spend some quality time with their children, display and follow the right values of honesty, tolerance, respect and politeness which they expect their children to imbibe.
The address was very fruitful and facilitated the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
